We had the loveliest and most comfortable time here. The area is absolutely beautiful with fantastic beaches and family days out. The house is gorgeous and so comfortably finished – we will definitely be back!<\/p>

The owner and agents were really helpful with booking arrangements for our week long holiday. They agreed a change of start date after we had booked. The house is just what we expected. A lovely rural setting for an exceptional restoration of an old farm building. Plenty of outdoor spaces and light and spacious living room. Very well equipped kitchen and the beds are extremely comfortable. We found a different beach every day so made great use of an amazingly hot sunny week.<\/p>

We have had an excellent week drinking in the tranquillity here, taking the break we needed to re-charge. Some of us even rode the waves at Bantham!<\/p>

What a delightful stay in the beautiful Threshing Barn. Slept better than we have for many months. It\u2019s such a peaceful place to wake up – a gentle green valley with a river running through it. Good cafe and farm shop 20 mins walk through the country lanes, another one half a mile further. Seaside town of Kingsbridge 8 mins drive and of course the famous Burgh Island of Agatha Christie fame with its dramatic coastline, safe sandy beaches, surfing & kayaking just over the hill.<\/p>

Thank you for a wonderful few days. The Barn is so comfortable. We have had so much fun. Lovely breakfast at the caf\u00e9 20 mins walk up the road. Walks at Gara Rock, Thurlestone and one gloriously sunny day walking from Mill Cove to Gara Rock. We got the ferry over to Salcombe, had a delicious lunch and walk around the shops. We had a fantastic stay at the barn. It was perfect for us. The barn is in a stunning location allowing us to spend all our days outside in the woods or down in Salcombe at the beach.\u00a0The children played cricket in the garden and chased each other around in the safety of the enclosed garden which was great for us.\u00a0The barn is beautifully decorated and accommodated us very well. We get a lot from DeVol so appreciate the aesthetics!\u00a0<\/p>

We have had a wonderful stay at the Threshing Barn on our first visit to Devon. Such a beautiful house and garden and a great spot to explore the surrounding countryside and beaches. Favourite spots include South Milton, Thurlestone, Yarmouth and Bantham beaches and lucky to have some warm sunny weather too!<\/p>

Spacious and beautifully renovated barn in a peaceful location. Beds are very comfortable and everything was clean. Gorgeous bathrooms. Close to stunning beaches, walks and towns. Property would best suit couples or families with older children due to some steep steps, but there is a lovely large garden which would be ideal for children to play in. Super friendly hosts; we felt very welcomed.<\/p>

A wonderful week in south Devon. The Threshing Barn was a great base and a lovely and well appointed cottage. The stroll to Aune Valley for a brunch or cream tea is definitely worthwhile, as was the walk up the hill to the Church House Inn for supper. Dartmouth was great, especially the fish and chips (Rockfish) by the sea. The beaches here are always amazing and we enjoyed sunshine and surf at Bigbury. Will certainly be back.<\/p>

The Threshing Barn has lived up to all our expectations. It’s even turned out to be far more spacious than the pictures suggest. <\/p>

We have loved staying in your beautiful barn in such a wonderful area. Amazing views from here and gorgeous beaches nearby.<\/p>

We chose to go to this part of Devon simply on wanting to stay here \u2013 it is every bit as amazing as it looks, very comfortable, beautifully converted and equipped better than the majority of rentals. The kitchen is very well equipped: many different glasses, lots of pans, good knives etc. The garden is secure and spacious, perfect for our dog. It was peaceful at night-time \u2013 we enjoyed watching the last of the summer swallows and house martins. We walked on the coastal paths but also visited Dartmoor twice, a versatile location!<\/p>

A beautiful barn recently renovated with all the modern appliances and elements one could dream for! Far reaching views across the countryside, a lovely airy and clean place with great taste! We felt incredibly comfortable in the space, had a barbecue with friends in their outdoor second kitchen and just enjoyed the space and the surroundings so much! Big plus is you are 5 minutes away from Bantham beach and also the new space called Outside (great organic food, coffee and a world renowed skater bowl and activities for kids and adults) We basically spent our entire holiday there.<\/p>

The Threshing Barn had all we needed to have a really lovely holiday- on this, our first time in Devon. In particular the recommendations were all excellent. We want to say that of everything we went to Mothecombe & Hope Cove were amazing and turned out to be our favourites but there are too many to mention! Thank you for allowing us to have such a great experience in this beautiful part of England.<\/p>

We had a wonderful time at the barn, it’s in a beautiful location which we loved and it has been beautifully renovated with everything we needed for the week. We just love that area so great to be back to explore. Thanks for all your help, I’m sure we’d love to stay here again, of course we had the sunshine all week which was an added bonus.<\/p>
